July 9th thru July 11th Barry and Paul were on a horse riding adventure with the priest quorum. It was the first time Paul had been on a horse. It was a great time. Fathers and sons out in nature for three days. There were bear tracks spotted just 200 yards from our camp. On Friday evening we drove up to Big Flat and the numbers of elk and deer we saw was spectacular.
Just south of Dublin Samantha is looking across the Irish Sea toward En
gland and blowing a kiss in that direction to Paul McCartney. Paul, when are you going to have tea with Sam? Also the oldest lighthouse in Europe.
Our family Summer vacation (Morena , Barry, Samantha and Paul) spent a week in Ireland from 6/16/09 to 6/23/09. We visited many castles and Pubs.We had a medieval banquet at the Bunratty Castle and saw dolphins and tons of jellyfish at the Cliffs of Moher and soooo.....many other interesting things. The Cliffs of Moher shoot straight up 700 feet and were featured in several movies including The Princess Bride.
Sam, Barry and I(Paul) went on a 4 mile hike on 6/8/2009 in Snow Canyon Park. The weather was beautiful. When we were sitting on the white rocks we heard in the distance some very loud wild animals.
Barry just recieved two more honors, from the local TV station KCSG and the Salt Lake Tribune, so I will recap them all here in Chronological order for his career at Snow Canyon High School. Also if you look at the top picture being 5' 5" doesn't matter if you out jump kids 10 inches taller than you.

Morena, Janice, Kaylee, Jon, Barry and Paul all go fishing at Navajo Lake. It was cold as you can tell by the way everyone is dressed. We even had moments of heavy snow and high winds, in June! On the way down we saw a deer right on the side of the road. As we road through town Barry tricked Paul into buying dessert.
Here is Barry pictured at graduation with his good friend and teammate Ryan Stewart. Both these boys along with several players from other local teams were nominated for KCSG's soccer player of the year. Snow Canyon Boy's Soccer Team was also nominated for Team of the Year. Winners for Player of the Year in different spring sports will be announced 6/5/2009 at 10:00 PM on SportsJam channel 37.
Friday May 22, 2009 Barry was at GradNight from 8:00PM until 5:00AM. The theme was "Night at the Museum ". Paul, Jack'ee , Janice and Jon crashed the party just long enough to snap this photo.
